Project Description

This project aims to strengthen the bridge between health services research and real-world practice by developing and testing knowledge mobilization (KMb) strategies that make evidence both accessible and actionable. Building on LPHI’s track record in rapid evidence synthesis and implementation support, the initiative will produce a suite of mobilization tools—plain-language briefs, webinars, infographics, and policy-oriented evidence digests—tailored to the needs of clinicians, community health organizations, and policymakers across Canada. A central focus of the project is equity in knowledge access: outputs will be open-access, bilingual (English/French), and adapted for diverse health system audiences, including rural, Indigenous, and underserved communities. To maximize usability, the project will embed stakeholder feedback loops at each stage of development, ensuring that outputs are relevant, trusted, and implementable. Impact will be measured not only through traditional academic markers (citations, publications) but also through real-world indicators of uptake, such as policy citations, integration into clinical guidelines, training adoption, and documented practice change. By advancing an evidence-informed approach to health service delivery, the project contributes directly to SDG 3 (Good Health & Well-Being) while modeling scalable strategies for equitable, transparent, and effective knowledge mobilization.
